The Context 

Planning transit facilities requires attention to environmental compliance, historic resources, and the needs of people who use and live near transportation infrastructure.

As a subcontractor to NV5, KEC supported work associated with two proposed transit station projects in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The firm’s role included Section 106 historic preservation review support, contributing to the environmental planning process for these transportation investments.
