On April 23rd, our Principal, Kibri Everett, had the privilege of serving as a panelist at the Sustainability Speed Networking & Panel Event hosted by Black Girl Environmentalist – Charlotte. Held at Hygge in Charlotte, the event brought together environmental professionals, students, and community leaders to exchange ideas, build connections, and center Black voices in the sustainability movement.
Kibri shared insights from her two decades of work in environmental science and justice, emphasizing the need for community-rooted solutions, equitable access to green opportunities, and sustained investment in Black-led climate leadership.

At Key Environmental Consulting, we’re proud to be part of a growing network of changemakers working to advance environmental equity across the Southeast and beyond. Thank you to BGE Charlotte for hosting a meaningful and well-organized event - we’re excited about what’s next.
Check out this recap video highlighting the energy and impact of the evening.
